The Tal-Gan lab, in collaboration with the Lau lab at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne, was just awarded a $2,041,694 research grant from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI; R01HL142626) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support our joint project aimed at developing dominantly negative CSPs that attenuate bacteremic pneumococcal pneumonia. Hooray!
